The Life Cycle of the Butterfly

First the butterfly lays an egg on a plant this is called the egg stage Next the caterpillar inside chews its way out then it eats its own shell! The caterpillar is starving so it eats lots of food like leaves this is called the larva stage Next is the pupa stage the caterpillar finas a strong branch where it will turn into a chrysalis after lo days a butterfly comes out.
